The Plein Aires paint-out group chose Arlington Garden for our location last Friday. Arlington Garden is a beautiful place and is ever changing. What to paint at the garden is always a hard decision since there are so many great views. On my previous paint-out there I painted
Poppies! featuring the red poppies blooming in the spring. Not a trace of poppies in September. From where I painted that watercolor, I noticed the table and striped umbrella had been replaced by new green umbrellas. There is huge old pepper tree to sit under and one of the artists was painting at the table under the new umbrellas so I tried a watercolor again from the same spot. Check out the great views below~

Umbrellas and electrical wires - two great elements to include in a painting! Nice, Sherry!
ReplyDeleteThanks Joani...some fellow painters are getting on me about my love of utility poles. ;-)
