It's been a few months since I was at Arlington Garden in Pasadena to paint. In April I was expecting more spring flowers but they hadn't had enough rain this year. So instead of wildflowers I painted the utility shed, and posted that watercolor in
April at Arlington Garden. I see in that piece I included the neighbor's house in the background and their eucalyptus tree which had some nice sunlight on it. When I was there last month I completely forgot I liked that tree and am surprised to see I painted it again along with the neighbor's house. Both had some nice light and I had a good view of a path with an interesting planter held in place by recycled concrete. As usual I had another view in mind that was interesting too and I just had to finally quickly choose my subject and start painting!
