My last plein air paint-out at Echo Park for this year's lotus season was a few weeks ago, the end of July. The lotuses have more pods drying than new flowers now. I posted my previous paint-out there, which was on a busy Saturday in Paleta Cart. On this most recent visit, I painted my landscape from a spot on a hill in the park. But I still didn't try painting or drawing the beautiful lotus flowers. Some day!

It's shocking how quickly the seasons pass, but you got some good pictures. Nice that you gave the ladies a dog - everybody needs a dog.
ReplyDeleteYou're lucky to have Frankie!
DeleteReally nice, Sherry - you've really gotten proficient with figures!
ReplyDeleteThanks Joani...must try flowers.
DeleteGosh, as usual, I like your painting even better than the photo of real life!
ReplyDeleteThanks Terry, the perfect comment! I always see things I should have corrected when I post the photo.
